A silent clip of security footage showing a car driving through an intersection and a noise picked up by shot spotters sea of microphones were the only evidence against him. Prosecutors who initially claimed shot spotter's secret algorithm had cracked the case eventually asked a judge to dismiss the charges against williams, citing insufficient evidence.
