Is There a Growing Russian Presence in Crimea?
There was this growing presence of what I now realize is the Russian Secret Services, call them any other Kremlin affiliated organizations. For instance, we had the so-called Russian cultural centers in Crimea. They would organize all of these pro-Russian events. Then there were organizations openly recruiting high schoolers, trying to get them into the Russian universities. So it was ridiculous stuff like this and looking back now, I'm thinking, oh my God, how is that allowed? How could this possibly have happened?"
