How to Professionalize the Central Services of Subject Associations
I would use that money to professionalise the central services of those bodies. I would give them a remit, you know, so they have to reach every single teacher in the country and focus on improving their subject specific pedagogy. And if there's anyone that could step up to make a difference in this country, it would be the subject associations. But that isn't going to happen because there isn't the desire to do that in the associations or the financial backing from the government.
