Nanograph: A Gravitational Wave Detector
Professor Kiara Mingarelli is a Professor at Yale who works on nanograph. Nanograph uses the galactic population of millisecond pulsars to look for gravitational waves. We can do this because millisecond pulsar are nature's best clocks. And so what we look for are those changes in the arrival times of the pulses from these ultra stable pulsars. That's how we can turn the whole galaxy into a gravitational wave detector.
