Cross functional teams are when you have people at opposite ends of the spectrum looking at things from different perspectives. The ideal size of a team, he says, is seven plus or minus two. A large team would take about five times the number of hours to complete a project. He also talks about brooke's law where adding man power to a late sopher project makes it later.
