The Earth Pulls on Everything Equally
The earth has a gravity that pulls on everything, and that includes the feather. Closeness makes the pull of gravity stronger. Feathers also have mass, so they also have some gravity that's pulling back on the things around them. So on earth, gravity makes the feather fall down and that powerful gravity from the earth pulls on all things around it equally. No matter the object, ya, feather, rock, semi truck, the earth pulls with the same strength.
