The Justice Department's Decision Not to Charge Trump for the Stormy Daniels Payment
The Justice Department has a longstanding policy that it will not file or accuse a sitting president of a crime. When did they make this decision? Was he still president at the time? He was still president. Once Trump stopped being the president, the Justice Department had every authority to re-examine the issue and decide whether to charge Trump for this or not. And I'll be honest, from my sources, it's pretty clear to me why that is.
