The Differences Between Social Domain Theory and Moral Foundations Theory
There's a bizarre tension that I've never considered before between social domain theory and moral foundations theory. Moral foundations theory is saying, Hey, there are these different foundations that kind of depends upon what culture group you're in. Social domain theory would say, well, if it's dependent upon what culture you're in, it's not really a moral issue. It's a social convention. That seems like that must be a pretty, uh, controversial area of research right now.
