I was really looking forward to this film but I was also like it does have the potential this level of whimsy to then tip over into something very slightly grating or irritating. The film itself does not do that at all. It's just such a lovely little story. A lot of people we put off because it's about a cutesy talking shell and even though Marcel is and I think it's fairly safe to say the most adorable thing that has ever existed on screen.
