The Art of Critical Criticism Is a Destructive Act
"I don't respect it as an art form, because i think what you're doing is a fundamentally destructive act," he says of critics. "You're looking at something some one else created, and your tearing down what someone else created." He argues that the better tactic would be actively dialoguing with things that are supposedly so deserving of criticism.
