Watchmen

Mike Mason: Do you feel that Watchmen had a more positive or negative impact on the medium of Western comics as a whole in the long run? Mason gives his thoughts, which he says, I feel it was more negative than good. Since it came out, if a book isn't a Watchmen-esque or a straight up rip off, it is not praised or respected by anyone who hasn't invested in comics culture. The only way for people outside the orbit to be interested in a comic is for it to be like Watchmen.
