Are There Other Indices That Could Have Been Ball Lightning?

Mister sherman thought he heard one of them making an electrical crackling sound. So that fits with their being an electrical phenomenon. And so does the way the house lights and the yard lights at the ranch dimmed when the blue orb went by. Since the light's dimmed, you might think that the orb was somehow pulling electricity out of the wiring. Not with any human technology that i'm aware of.
