How to Build a Routine for Your Training Days
When is your long run going to be? Where does that fit into your schedule? Most people it falls on a weekend, but I have athletes that I coach who choose to do it during the week because their work schedule isn't necessarily one of the more traditional eight to five or nine to five type jobs. Those should all be at least two days apart from each other with recovery running in between if possible. So establish your routine absolutely critical and know over time what days you want to do those key components so that you can do them as consistently as possible. And then point three, once you know what days are going to be what then you need to start to put together that build plan.
