Swimming in the Maldeves

Swimming in the maldeve islands has been frowned upon for decades. The government recruited teachers who didn't know anything about water culture. They noticed that young students were playing hooky to go swimming in the lagoons. No citizen of the malis has half a mile to a lukewarm lagoon, given that they could be word leading in swimming.
