The Market of Clatalolco
One of the city's most remarkable sights can be found in the district of clatalolco. A great market was held, with boats coming from all the lakeside cities to sell their produce. Cocoa and bright green quetzel feathers were brought from the south. Obsidian blades for everyday use,. paper made from bark, as well as gold and silver from the north. One extract from the florentine codaks contains a list of all the foods eaten at one aztec feast.
