Spinal Manipulation in a Young Adult With Low Back Pain

If a 30% of these athletes are presenting with a spondy, is that an issue or not something to worry about? If you look at manual therapy, contraindications, it is a fracture, it is contraindicated. So we have no need of surgical stabilization in our adolescent athlete until they have failed six months of conservative care. That is when it's indicated that six months is for a surgical consult.
