Buka and Betty Cabry founded a school in the Netherlands based on Quaker principles. Gerald Endenberg, who developed the sociocratic circle method was a student at that school. And they were inspired by what this would look like implemented into an organizational context. In autocracy, ultimate authority lies with the individual or small group; in majority decision making supremacy lies with the majority.
