The Importance of Communication in Managing a Developer
I think there's something to be said with how you approach the assignment of work and task to a developer first and foremost. I'm not one that subscribes to Agile and all of the lovely project management things that people come out with. But what I do subscribe to is regular touch points, regular communication, regular discussions where you provide your developers with a safe space so that they can feel like they can raise concerns, problems and issues. And that hopefully gives you opportunity to head them off at the pass to pivot and make those changes.
