The Prosecutor of a Wreck
The Air Florida flight crashed into the 14th Street bridge over the Potomac River. The wreckage destroyed 97 feet of guardrail before plunging through the ice in the river. There were 74 passengers and five crew members on board, but only five people survived. One of them was a private pilot who could tell something was wrong when they took off.
