The Importance of Leadership in the UX Profession

UX maturity is pretty abysmal across the board. Nielsen Norman group has a survey that ranks organizations on a scale from one to six and they call this their UX maturity scale. Half said their organization was in a stage three, emergent. The thing that jumps out to me here is promising. There's a group of people looking for someone to show them the way. They just aren't there yet.
