What's the Difference Between Fundamentalism and Catholicism?

In the 15 and 16 hundreds, there was this emphasis in catholicism that people had free will. And that has translated through to this very day. If you look at an electoral map of a us Election, it precisely reflects the migration patterns of people who came from the more traditional catholic parts of britain. It's not as bloody as it was once, but idealogically, it is certainly ongoing.
