Is There a Zone That You Can't Maintain?
If you don't have a hot monitor or power meter, divide your perceived exexetion into zones. Zone one is below six, zone two is up to eight, and the son three is 8, 9 or ten,. Depending on what kind of athlete you are, that middle zone might be six, seven, eight, and then zone 3 is nine and ten. If i go out for 30 minutes as hard as possible, i would probably have a rate starting out in one 90%, by the end at one 80%. But i'd probably peg my uppers at likening one 80 to one 84 per cent.
