Embed Yourself in Enterprise Level Organizations
The only way you're going to get referrals is to be a referral. I think that this works outside of just SMBs and professional services businesses. HubSpot is an example of a type of enterprise level company that when you build a relationship with them, it's extendable because you can be a HubSpot partner. There's always ways to embed yourself in large organizations and then either extend in different places or leverage that to build other relationships.
