The Role of Frequency of Inference in Robotic Behavior

The most advanced robot in my home right now is the rumba. It's not uh not too smart it doesn't figure things out too quickly but it kind of feels appropriate you know and like we run it overnight. Increasing the frequency of inference really just smooths the behavior as opposed to changing the behavior so that's something you can kind of control independently. i think these are the most stable at least at the fleet scale they have and they're fairly robust like the navigation stack and everything is fairly reliable They don't break as much they don't run into objects like everything works.
