Do You Agree With Your Past Self?

The four gospels are not written until decades after Jesus would have died. Matthew is the most egregious of the gospel writers when it comes to trying to backdate prophecy and to fulfill Old Testament prophecy, because oftentimes he's trying to draw these connections to make sure that Jesus is the one. But sometimes he cites him incorrectly. And so two of the verses I thought were, I think, interesting was in Matthew 21, five: Tell you the daughter of Zion, behold, thy king cometh unto thee,. meek and sitting upon an ass and a cult, the foul of an ass.
