The Evolution of Southern England's Winemaking Scene
It will be unusual weather patterns, so we're getting more of these extreme weather events. And then when I look back, I'm seeing things flowering perhaps earlier and we know that our spring is advancing by five days every 10 years. So it's those types of indicators that tell us that not all is the same as it used to be. In terms of vineyards in Southern England, yeah, we have lots of vineyards. French champagne houses are buying up bits of Kent and Sussex because they know that in 2030 years time that the champagne area of France will get warmer.
