Amanda Shires is the one who came up with this idea, which is so brilliant. She basically was listening to country radio one day and noticed how they weren't playing women hardly at all. There was like no girls on there for like an hour. And she kept calling the radio station and she told Brandy, she said, I want to start a women's group with you. It'd be like, you know, the highway men. They were like, we're going to be singing with Dolly Parton too. But you know what? I listened, if we were Destiny's child, I am the show and I'm just totally okay with that.
