Collectibles Don't Track on Your Map

If you scan a skull on the main open map, and noti like a dungeon, sort of like main campaign, labl, it'll appear on your map. But if you scanned it, that means you are in range of standing in it. Does it work that way with all the collectables? Because there have definitely beene like things on my map. Um, i guess. Collectible tip.
