The Evolution of Professional Wrestling

Professional wrestling itself seems to have emerged out of wrestling folk traditions and british grappling contests at fairs in the late nineteenth century. The sport becomes increasingly popular in the united states and in the british isles. popularity declines during war or two, and sky rockets afterwards into what is sometimes described as kind of a golden age of wrestling. It takes root in other parts of the world, most not in japan and mexico, but especially in mexico because this is where we see the birth of lucha libre.
