What Are You Saying to Piketty?
Piketty is essentially writing from the perspective of the rulers, not the rule. She's basically saying to historians your history is being politicized anyway. You might as well try to make it at least accurate or, you know, have your purse, your perspective. If you look, go back to the sixties and seventies. We're having a ferocious debate as in many states, not just critical race theory, but the battle of the animal. What that means and who was there? It's taking one contemporary political issue.
