Why Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People Have Land Rights
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have an ongoing cultural connection to the ancestral lands that we have always lived on. The arrival of the British settlers on our land in 1788 did not erase those connections. Marbo is ultimately as bad as I see it to be because of its potential to destroy our society. Economic and political future of Australia has been put at risk in our territorial integrity. It's not only every lease, it's every property in Australia, that could be at risk.
