In the next 15 years, high school graduates will drop by another 7% in Maine, 5% nationally. Despite that, Maine has responded by increasing its tuition to 8 to 10 weeks per year and states like Florida and Texas where more high school students reside. In April, the state made two years of community college free for full time students. And that increased registrations up 171%.
