The Paradigm of Judgeship
A lot of the topics that you're going to come in with a bias somehow, whether it be intrinsic or extrinsic. Judges list what's called a paradigm. So for example, sometimes in debate, we can take for granted things is human death inherently bad. And so some judges in their paradigms say, look, I'm going to default to assuming human death is bad.
