Confidence Is More Important Than Success

confidence is something that we're all socialized to feel at a young age, in terms of how we're allowed to extol our virtues. You write about how there's plenty of evidence suggesting that confidence is just as often the result of progress as the cause of it. So would you say that courage to take that first step is more important than confidence? I think so.
