I do much less writing than I used to since I have started teaching writing but no life's just really busy. The more you can keep that story or the idea of writing and that excitement in your head then when you can curate some time to sit down that's going to be really effective because you've done all that prep work instead of people often say well I open my laptop and then I read what I wrote last time  then I think about it and then I make some fun and then that's my right time gone is all the prep so if you do that every day all the time you're just doing it naturally, not everyone can write five times a day like me.
