Since the pittsburg shooting happened three years ago, and then powey six months later, we definitely saw a ramping up security. And in all jewish establishments are most jewish establishments. The question is, how to hold that sensitively, and how to remain an open, warm, inclusive, radically welcoming community when we actually have to stop people at the door and make sure that they are unarmed before they enter into our spaces. A lot of this is a learning how to communicate with other people who are under siege,. about staying calm and remaining a non anxious presence in the face of really difficult circumstances.
