God's Pre-Understanding of Reality as a Whole

Divine providence is God's pre-understanding of reality as a whole. And the plan by which he directs all things to their ultimate end. Now we're going to have to qualify this in a minute because you might say, well, the world is theultimate end. But the world is not the ultimate end. It's on the way to some, a better end as we'll see.
