Co-Star's Promotional Listings Business Model
BPP had a syndication feed, right? It wasn't IDX. That was like a direct feed from the member MLS is. What co-star went was, okay, can we now do promoted listings on this? And they said, no, okay, now co-star is like, shit, how are we going to get our data? Okay, well, now we have to get IDX, which is what they're doing today. If you're an IDX role, you can't do promoted listings. So solve a problem for them. It didn't solve the problem, but it lets them keep traction going.
