The Importance of Soul in Sufism
I agree with you that the whole imaginal world in Sufism is called the Mundus imaginationales, al-am-al-methal. And it's real. It's imagine real imagination or soul is an organ of perception. Adya at first was not too smitten with it, but he's grown and changed. This idea, when I was younger, I thought enlightenment was like a pinnacle, like a mountain top. And then the idea was to just like camp there for as long as you can. That was a biting enlightenment. And I don't believe that anymore.
