Shelling and Hegel, a 'Night in Which All Cows Are Black'
Shelling and hegel were roommates in yena, collaborated on a journal. Hegel wrote the phenomenology; shelling thought this was an immature conception of the absolute. But they got along like nothing had ever happened, like best friends again. It's only later with psychoanalysis that you get a deeper understanding of what shelling was up to.
