The Emotional Ride of Children in Maths
Children struggle to control their emotions at the best of times. That's another thing they're learning to do throughout their journey through school. The two words that we often use to describe the emotions, children, experience in maths would generally be anxiety and fun. I very, very rarely think maths I would best describe as being fun. And so one other example might be if a child's attainment is high, they may find it more difficult when they encounter challenge and become more defensive than normal.
