Absalom's Rebellion

In 1 Chronicles 19 and 20, Absalom usurps the throne. In 2 Samuel, chapter 15, he gets himself a chariot and horses and fifty men to run before him. He sent secret messengers throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, As soon as you hear the sound of the trumpet, then say Absalom is king at Hebron. David flees from Jerusalem. But we resume our story with Absalom and what he's doing,. rebelling against his father in 2 Samuel, chapters 15 and 16.
