I would say close to 30 that I now feel comfortable dropping a swear word. Dropping the word fart. Fart, crap, crap and bloody definitely were allowed. Maybe when my brothers started to use it more. But they never even had that rule. They were only banned or frowned upon for saying like shit, fuck. Whoa. Big words, madam. It's only when necessary.
