The Trap of Pessimism

I find myself somewhere in between not wanting to not wanting to let's say become a human being. Not wanting to join the chorus of the doom and gloom people but at the same time not wanting to buy into the giddy techno utopian optimism either. I think I think both are are are bad perspectives being naively start trekking the optimistic. But that could be another trap but also pessimism could be another Trap.
