If they don't do it now, we will have abortion case after abortion case coming up to the Supreme Court. So resolving those cases in a principled way will be impossible because there's no principled foundation for the putative right in the first place. I would think that here prudence would align with principle and it would be clear that the prudentially as well as, prudentially correct as well as principled thing to do is just to overturn those cases.
