How to Automatic License Plate Reading
There is a video from Digibler you're probably familiar with his YouTube stuff. And he is using Home Assistant in conjunction with several different projects to do automatic license plate reading using a Dahuwa, I think DAHUA brand of camera. Now there are probably some privacy implications depending on what state you're in in terms of recording people's cars and actually storing this data. It'd be funny to run this on the RV as I'm going down the road. Have it hooked up to the wise cam just capturing plates so I could keep track of everybody I've ever driven past. What could go wrong? Not creepy at all. Oh crap, wife's coming home. Look busy
