Is Scots a Separate Language?
There's a gray area between dialect and language where perception is just as important as technical differences. The classification of scots is made all the more difficult due to the events that took place after the current point in our story. Overtime, even many people in scotland didn't consider scott's to be a separate language. But in recent years, the trend has moved in the other direction. There's been a concerted effort to recognize scott's as a separatelanguage.
