The Importance of Understanding the Letter to the Hebrews

Paul wrote the letter that we call Romans, he wrote it to the Romans, the Christians in Rome. The letter to the Galatians was written to a bunch of churches in Galatia. We have to keep in mind these letters are not for us. They're not dealing with things that we are dealing with necessarily. Some New Testament scholars will do this technique called mirror reading. That is, we read Galatians and because we don't have the other side of that conversation, we sort of like hold a mirror up to the letter or whatever the author says.
