How Do I Clean My Pens With Distilled Water?

i don't use fountain pens and standard field notes paper s. Luke says, i just moved to a new home, which is exciting, but raises an interesting pen issue. Would softened water make a difference? Do i need to start filtering water to clean my pens out? Can i tell you how much i love this question? It is incredible. En, i never thought about this topic, although we've kind of talked about it generally. I would think over the long term it would not be great, right?
