I wonder if there are order effects with personality change so let's say you do want to change something about your personality. Does it make sense to go straight for interventions that would target neuroticism or does it make more sense to go after extraversion? I think a lot of the time many of us slip into these kind of routines and habits like friendship groups but we're not necessarily intentional about it. People who score highly in agreeability tend not to put themselves in situations where they get stressed or they're unpleasant, which seems to be one of the defining features of scoring highly in that trait.
